The Commonwealth Government introduced the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System
(QIAS) for Long Day Care Child Care Centres on the 1st of January 1994.
Kidszone Outside School Hours Care Centre is constantly focused on improving the
quality of our child care service in the following four main areas:-
Interaction between staff and children, and interaction between staff and parents.
Kidszone programme of activities for the children.
Nutrition, health and safety practices.
Centre Management and staff development.
 
Parents who are eligible for the
Federal Government’s
Child Care Assistance subsidy will only be required to pay the daily gap fee applicable to their
financial circumstances. Fees can be from less than $6.00 per day depending on the level of Child Care Assistance
you may receive.
Fees must be paid one week in advance.
Accounts in arrears over four weeks may result in cancellation of your booking.
Kidszone Outside School Hours Care Centre is registered for the Commonwealth Government Child Care Benefit scheme,
to help reduce your weekly fees.

The
Family Assistance Office (FAO) is a joint venture between Centrelink, The Australian Tax Office and the
Health Insurance Commission (Medicare). The FAO administers the Child Care Benefit (CCB) system on behalf of the
Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Service.
Child Care Benefit has replaced both the Commonwealth Childcare Assistance and Medicare Cash Rebate for every
family regardless of their income means test. Every Australian family will be entitled to and will get either fee
reduction or tax return adjustment on the Child Care usage when your child attends Kidszone.
Under the Child Care Benefit system, families have certain responsibilities to fulfill. All families using
Kidszone must contact the Family Assistance Office regardless of the family taxable income. Families should submit
to the Family Assistance Office the required information preferable before enrolment at Headstart. The Family
Assistance Office will inform both the family and Kidszone with the family eligibility percentage of assistance for
each child.
Each family using Kidszone must have a Customer Reference Number (CRN).
